British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) - Fair Wear and Tear Guide
Pendle Vehicle Contracts are members of the BVRLA; the BVRLA have produced the Fear Wear and Tear Guide which sets out the expected standard and condition of your lease car when it returns at the end of the lease agreement. This is widely recognised by all finance funders in order to avoid any unfair and arbitrary charges. We all understand that cars will not return in show room condition after being on the roads for 2-4 years. Fair Wear and Tear covers the exterior and interior of the car, as well as tyres and glass. At the end of your lease agreement, your car will be inspected for damage. If there is any damage on the lease car that falls outside of the remit of Fair Wear and Tear you may be liable to damage charges.
