Porsche Taycan takes to the track
We all know that electric technology in cars is growing rapidly, and more and more people are switching to electric for a vast array of reasons. Plenty of manufactures have hybrid and fully- electric cars available on the roads already, however very few have ventured into the luxury electric market. For some time Tesla have dominated this market. Porsche have marketed the Taycan has a direct competitor for the Tesla Model S, but also against the Audi E-Tron GT and Mercedes EQS.
The name 'Taycan' itself represents the famous Porsche crest - Taycan translates as "lively young horse" and the Taycan is extremely lively when you put your foot down! Oliver Blume, CEO of Porsche AG explained "our new electric sports car is athletic and performance-oriented; a car that persistently surpasses boundaries, and represents freedom."
