The Volkswagen ID. BUZZ - an electric concept for the next generation of camper van
The Volkswagen Camper van is one of the most iconic vehicles VW have ever produced. Recognised all over the world and loved by enthusiasts, collectors and campers alike. There are even countless groups dedicated to being a VW camper owner. But now, the iconic van leaps into the future with the latest concept from Volkswagen: the ID. BUZZ.
Volkswagen have stated that the ID. BUZZ will come with several different battery options for customers to choose from depending on their needs, purposes and budget. Despite this, VW are yet to announce the battery options that will be available. Therefore there is no indication as to the range customers can expect from the ID. BUZZ. With Range Anxiety being a major concern for those reluctant to switch to electric, it is safe to say that the success of the ID. BUZZ will likely depend on the range available.
Interior Design - VW ID. BUZZ
Volkswagen have spent a lot of time on designing the interior of the new ID. BUZZ. Titled on their website as a "space-saving miracle", VW have said that the new interior will have "extra roomy luggage compartment" and "revolutionary flexible seating." All this is designed to allow the owner to create space simply and easily. All of this space will be made possible by the lack of a fuel tank and catalytic converter due to the ID. BUZZ being fully electric.
"Reinventing the wheel"
This has been taken quite literally in the ID. BUZZ. The steering wheel looks like something straight out of a Sci-Fi film. All of the core controls of the vehicle can be accessed via the touchpad steering wheel. This has kept the interior clean and sleek without sacrificing usability and convenience.

Unfortunately, this is still currently a concept. These are not available for pre-order or to lease... at the moment.
